The School of Global and International Studies is coming to Indiana University – the IU board of trustees approved the school’s creation on Friday. It will be based in the College of Arts and Sciences, and is set to combine more than 350 core and affiliated faculty members from across the university. The decision, IU President Michael A. McRobbie said, is one of the most significant IU developments of the last 200 years. WFHB reporter David Murphy spoke with Larry Singell, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, about what the school means for IU students and faculty, in today’s feature interview.
