Interchange – Community Journalism: The Students of J460

Play

WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community.  During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.  J460 professor Mike Conway talks to students Rachel Cerrone, A. D. Quig, and Eric Stearley about their experiences learning and doing community journalism and plays portions of their stories.
