Host William Morris speaks with Bill Vance, president of the Monroe County NAACP about issues of employment, education, health and housing among minorities and other disenfranchised population groups in Monroe County, southern Indiana and the nation as a whole. Bill speaks to the organization’s national policies and how those policies are carried out in Monroe County. He also talks about the history of the NAACP in Monroe County, past chapter presidents and their accomplishments, and several issues Bill himself has confronted during his tenure.
