Jan Bell- Born in Yorkshire England, Jan Bell splits her time between Brooklyn NY and Brown County, IN. It’s a long story! An avid reader and story appreciator all her life, her songwriting has sent her to Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival Masters Stage; Glastonbury Festival; The Woody Guthrie Archives; and The Independent Music Awards Best Americana Album ‘Songs for Love Drunk Sinners’; and Best Concept Album ‘Dream of the Miner’s Child’ – dedicated to her Grandfather.
Her Brooklyn based band The Maybelles, began as a duo with Melissa Carper in The Ozarks and opened there for Odetta, and Emmylou Harris. In NYC they opened for Wanda Jackson. Flying solo, Jan Bell has supported Rosanne Cash. Steve Earle, and more recently, Sierra Ferrell at HiFi Indy, and Jolie Holland at Cafe Wha? NYC.
Founder and Director of The Brooklyn Americana Music Festival now in its eleventh year. Voted Best of Brooklyn (Empire State Awards) Best Festival 2023.

Westley Penland-Westley Penland is a calm, sober, vessel of uncoolness. He recently published his first poetry chapbook “Confirmation of Life” (Alien Buddha Press) in December of 2024 and is described as a Spoken Word Poet. He enjoys cooking, movies, hiking, and spending time with his two rescue pups.
