Today’s hosts of Bring It On!, Clarence Boone and Liz Mitchell, celebrate Juneteenth by welcoming Vernon Williams, Rain Williams, and Ms. Latrice. They are here to discuss their play, “Democracy Hypocrisy: The Red, White, and Blues of Freedom”.
The production comes between two iconic national celebrations of “liberation”, Juneteenth and Independence Day, offering an exhilarating and authentic portrayal of the Africana experience through spoken word, dance, music, song, and drama. The play is directed by Ms. Latrice.
