Primary elections for the city of Bloomington Mayor’s Office see incumbent, first-term Mayor John Hamilton face Amanda Barge. Barge has stated she will not accept the position if elected, after suspending her campaign in the wake of sexual harassment allegations. Nineteen Bloomington City Council candidates were also on Tuesday’s ballots, running for nine council seats.
