On June 28, Indiana University environmental science and geological science professor Jeff White spoke about the science and politics of climate change. He called it one of the most challenging dilemmas humans have faced. White was recently appointed director of the university’s Integrated Program in the Environment. White’s presentation was for Green Drinks Bloomington, an organization with monthly events for people interested in a greener world.
The Monroe County Democrats’ Club met on Tuesday, August 15th at 11:30 am at DeAngelo’s Restaurant in Eastland Plaza. Dr. Rob Stone spoke about single-payer health insurance. The public was invited to attend.
