J460 – Kerri Richardson: Future Teachers

The budget crisis in local schools is leading our teachers to question their job security. Kerri Richardson reports on the harsh job climate faced by the teachers of today and tomorrow.

WFHB is proud to partner with the Indiana University School of Journalism for Community Journalism J460, a class taught in part here at WFHB where students learn to produce radio features on issues relevant to the local community. During the fall semester of 2010, students in J460 pursued stories in underreported areas like healthcare, education, criminal justice, and homelessness.
