Doug recently won multiple awards from the Indiana Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists for his series of reports from Afghanistan. He traveled with the Indiana National Guard’s Agribusiness Development Team. Wissing has contributed to publications that include The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and Salon.com. We’ll explore his experiences and reflect on the impact of the death of Osama Bin Laden’s on the Afghan war.
