Dozens of local residents spoke at City Hall last night as part of an emergency meeting called in the wake of last week’s election; Indiana governor and vice president-elect Mike Pence is at the center of a lawsuit over public access to his administration’s email communications; Last week the Bloomington City Council approved the creation of a housing development fund; An $80,000 grant from the Efroymson Family Fund will allow the Indiana Forest Alliance and its partners to expand the inventory of plants and animals in the interior forests of Indiana’s public lands.

Over Fall Break a group of five IU freshmen drove out to Standing Rock, North Dakota to participate in protests against the Dakota Access pipeline.
