Feature:
Nancy Hiller is known throughout Bloomington and South Central Indiana as a fine woodworker and furniture-maker as well as an advocate for historic preservation. What many don’t know about her is that she nearly chucked it all when she first moved to this town. She enrolled at Indiana University in her 30s to take graduate degree courses in religious studies. She hoped to leave her field and do her little bit to improve the world by becoming a teacher.
