The City  of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) begins its regular summer fire hydrant flushing today—a program that continues through early August. From today through Friday, June 10th the area affected will be from West Gifford Road, south to West Leonard Springs Road. The eastern boundary is State Road 37 and the western boundary will be West Airport Road.  Customers may experience fluctuations in pressure or discoloration of their water during flushing. If so, customers are advised to postpone washing clothes and limit use of hot water until the cold water clears.
