The son of a single mother, he dropped out of high school and played in a rock ’n roll band for ten years. Then he got serious about life and put himself through college and law school. In 2015 he argued before the United States Supreme Court for marriage equality and won the landmark case. Now, Dan Canon is running for Congress in Indiana’s Ninth District, hoping to unseat first term Republican Trey Hollingsworth.
