Fistful of Bacon has won a few awards at various blues competitions and have finished as finalists at a few others. A quick listen to their eclectic mix of sounds, composed by singer/bassist Jeff Shew and singer/guitarist Marv Druin, show why these are well-deserved accolades. The founder of the band, Eric Gaylord, rounds out the meaty compositions on drums, with Matt Boat on lead guitar. The band has released a couple live EPs and plan to release a full album soon.
