Bring It On! concludes the second of its two-part series about the impact of COVID-19 on the black community and the response of the black community to the COVID-19 vaccines. Last week’s show focused on the effect of COVID-19 on black women. Today’s show focuses on COVID-19’s impact on black men.

Today’s hosts, William Hosea and Robert Good Evening speak with two African American men who represent both health care and academe. With us today are:

Dr. Arnold Henry, who is board certified in family medicine and fellowship-trained in sports medicine.

Dr. Charlie Nelms, Chancellor Emeritus of North Carolina Central University. He is the author of From Cotton Fields to University Leadership: All Eyes on Charlie, A Memoir. He also recently penned the article, “Why I Plan to Take the COVID Vaccine and You Should Too!”, in Diverse Issues in Higher Education.
