Monroe County Commissioners
On March 23rd the Monroe County Commissioners heard from Director of the Planning Department Jackie Nester-Jelen shared with the commissioners that they will be holding focus group meetings for the County Development Ordinance.
Highway Director Lisa Ridge asked the commissioners to approve a change order for the Sample Road project. Ridge explained that they tested the soil, and found that they need to switch from lime to cement for stabilization.
Commissioner Julie Thomas asked Ridge for an update on the construction at Sample East and Sample West roads, and shared she has received calls from residents asking about when the construction is expected to be finished by. Ridge responded.
The commissioners approved the change order unanimously.
The next Monroe County Commissioners meeting will be held on March 29th.
