  • This past Wednesday afternoon, former Indiana University student body President, Keith Parker was awarded the IU Bicentennial Medal at a Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center lunch and learn event.
  • The Bloomington City Council approved the Non-Consensual Towing Bloomington Municipal Code Amendment as amended.
  • On Wednesday night, the ninth Democratic presidential debate took place in Las Vegas, Nevada with democrats Sanders, Bloomberg, Klobuchar, Warren, and Buttigieg. WFHB’s Junior Correspondent, Katrine Bruner discusses some of the highlights from this debate as well as climate policy through the voices of Democratic Candidates Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg.
  • Local climate activist groups, Golden Bicycle and Extinction Rebellion, wrote a letter to the mayor, outlining what the city can do to combat climate change. WFHB News Director Kade Young has more on these two activism organizations.
