We present the latest edition of our podcast, Prescription for Healthcare: a deep dive into healthcare issues on the WFHB Local News.
In today’s segment, hosts Karen Green Stone and Dr. Rob Stone interviewed Dr. Susan Rogers, an assistant professor of medicine at Rush University and the president for Physicians for a National Health Program – a progressive, single-issue non-profit organization advocating a universal, comprehensive single-payer national health program.
Dr. Rogers recently retired from Stroger Hospital of Cook County where she was co-director of medical student programs for the Department of Medicine, but she continues as a volunteer attending hospitalist and internist there.
In today’s segment, Dr. Rogers gives us her perceived “prescription for healthcare.” Listen to hear what she proposes as a solution for the healthcare problem in the United States.
