Friday was the second day of the IU strike and system-wide protests. Some grievances include the University’s ongoing tuition hikes, wage freezes, privatization, outsourcing, and lack of diversity on campus. Protesters have been marching through campus along-side a strong police presence after one protester was arrested yesterday for alleged vandalism.
