An internal memo from Indiana University’s human resources department regarding the Affordable Care Act has raised concern about employee hours. The language of the memo seems to indicate that the university will be cutting hours for certain workers in order to avoid complying with a provision of the Affordable Care Act stating employers must provide health care coverage for employees working more than thirty hours a week. However, the university says that there is no cause for alarm. Correspondent Stephen Brown reports on the issue for today’s Daily Local News feature exclusive.
