Bloomington natives and Opryland alumni Joe and Jan Edwards have a country music touring/recording history that spans half a century. Host Ryan Dawes speaks with the Edwards duo about their experience performing alongside the likes of Bill Monroe, Les Paul, Chet Atkins, Bobby Bare and countless others on some of the premier country and bluegrass stages across the globe. So immersed in the Nashville music scene, they were granted permission to hold their wedding ceremony on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry Theater with the who’s who of the country music industry performing for the reception. Joe and Jan Edwards perform their signature “GitFiddle Review” at Player’s Pub July 28 at 8 pm.
