Diversity in the AAPI Community

Play

Welcome to our discussion with Hibah Butt, Elise Lee, and Kulsoom Tapal on Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio! Hearabouts is produced by WFHB and Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions.

Our discussion is about diversity in the Asian American Pacific Island community and how diverse experiences influence our identity and what it means to us. We feature statements about identity from students and faculty members at Indiana University Bloomington which we reflect on and make larger statements about what identity means to us.
