IU Health will no longer offer its insurance plans next year through the
health care marketplace established by the Affordable Care Act; Levels of
contaminants in Bloomington’s water supply continue to trend downward;
Indiana’s juvenile justice laws effectively punish youth offenders extra
for being poor; The Bloomington City Council has agreed to borrow more
than three million dollars to pay for upgrades to the city’s sanitation
system.

FEATURE
Columbus, Indiana is well known for its unique architectural heritage.
This year Exhibit Columbus launches an annual event designed to both
celebrate that history and cement its relevancy in future discussions of
architecture and community-making. “Foundations and Futures,” kicks off
this Thursday, September 29 and concludes on Saturday October 1. The
symposium features a keynote session hosted by world-renowned architects,
and panel discussions by experts in architectural history, community
members, and leaders in manufacturing and fabrication are featured
throughout the three days. WFHB reporter Jennifer Brooks spoke with the
director of Landmark Columbus, Richard McCoy for this WFHB community
report.
