A new study from Indiana University has found that the allocation of police resources can affect the economic welfare and social inequality of a city; The Bloomington City Council unanimously approved a 22 percent increase in water rates in its meeting last night; An article in the Times of Northwest Indiana recently noted that an Indiana state commission is deliberating on whether to recommend changes in the state’s process for drawing congressional and legislative district boundaries; The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department has announced that applications for the annual Holiday Market are now available and must be submitted by 5 p.m. on September 9th.
