Last week Chief Executive Magazine released it’s ninth annual survey documenting business leader’s opinions about which states are the best in which to do business. For the second year in a row, Indiana was ranked as the fifth best state to conduct business and ranked as the first state in the Midwest. For this study Chief Executive Magazine surveyed over 700 CEOs and asked them to rank a state’s business environment based on taxation and regulation, quality of workforce, and living environment. WFHB News Correspondent Nash Hott spoke with Pete Seat, a representative for the Indiana Republican Party, and Derek Thomas, a spokesperson from the Indiana Institute for Working Families. The two offer different interpretations into Indiana’s top ranking for today’s WFHB Feature Exclusive.
