Join us for this once in a lifetime event! Jim Manion is passionate about music and has been his entire life. Jim was the first and only Music Director of WFHB Community Radio, from the first broadcast in 1993 until his recent retirement. This is truly the end of an era. He attended the first benefit at the Bluebird in 1975 and has championed the concept and mechanics of volunteer powered community radio ever since. He even delayed retirement because of the Covid-19 pandemic to help WFHB. His longevity at WFHB, his unwavering dedication, his depth of music knowledge, and his ability to abide are all qualities of our local Dude, Jim Manion. WFHB would not be what it is today without him, but now he is moving on. As the sign on his door proclaimed, as he walked out for the last time, The Dude is not in.
