INDOT Hurrying I-69 as Hoosiers Grow Anxious


Monroe County and the city of Bloomington are tackling construction projects throughout the city, while The Indiana Department of Transportation is pursuing an ‘aggressive schedule’ in its construction of Interstate 69. Construction throughout Bloomington is causing headaches for residents. In today’s feature report, we’ll hear an update on Interstate 69 construction from Indiana Department of Transportation spokesman Andrew Dietriech, who says the state is rushing to complete the section five project through Bloomington before its August deadline and most traffic delays caused by construction should be eased after Memorial Day.
