An Ohio-based animal rights group is accusing the Indiana University School of Medicine of neglecting it’s lab animals. About 20 people gathered across the street from the Monroe County Correctional Center on Sunday to show support for incarcerated mothers. The City of Bloomington is holding the Black y Brown Arts Festival this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Banneker Community Center to celebrate art rooted in African, African-American, and Hispanic cultures.
