Ellettsville Struggles to Address Repeated Flooding

The Town of Ellettsville has a 100 year history of flooding. At the town council’s meeting yesterday, Fire Chief Mike Cornman said heavy rains and flash flooding left no way in or out of the town, last Thursday afternoon. INDOT to Wrap Up State Road 46 by October

The Indiana Department of Transportation said traffic in Brown County should get back to normal. INDOT has been repaving significant parts of State Road 46 throughout the Summer. I-69 Completion Moved Back, Again

Brown County to Break Ground on New Performing Arts Center

Brown County is expected to break ground on a new $12 1/2 million performing arts center, tomorrow. The Maple Leaf Performing Arts Center is a joint development by Brown County Commissioners, Brown County Council, and the county’s tourism department. The 2,000 seat, performing arts venue will be located off of Hawthorne Drive, behind the Brown County Health and Living Community. …
