The Town of Ellettsville has a 100 year history of flooding. At the town council’s meeting yesterday, Fire Chief Mike Cornman said heavy rains and flash flooding left no way in or out of the town, last Thursday afternoon. Brown County is expected to break ground on a new $12 1/2 million performing arts center, tomorrow. The Maple Leaf Performing Arts Center is a joint development by Brown County Commissioners, Brown County Council, and the county’s tourism department.
