Limestone Post Seeks Non-Profit Status

Co-founder and Publisher Ron Eid said the switch is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of donations, which will allow the production of higher quality content. Herald-Times Sold to NY Publisher

The Herald-Times is among eight Indiana newspapers sold to Gatehouse Media. South-Bend based Schurz Communications Inc. purchased The Herald-Times, in 1966. Scott Schurz addressed members of the Bloomington-based newspaper this morning, at 9 a.m. The former publisher, along with departing Editor Bob Zaltsberg announced the paper, along with other holdings of Schurz Communications’ publishing division, will be sold Friday.
