City Council Expands Sexual Harassment Protections

In their meeting last night, the Bloomington City Council approved expanding city code to provide sexual harassment protection for contractors, volunteers, and interns. Energy Task Force Aims to Turn Compost Into Truck Fuel

The City of Bloomington is looking to create more energy self reliance by converting composted waste to compressed natural gas. Utilities Director Vic Kelson told the Utilities Service Board last night, a Waste and Energy Task Force will examine the technical merit of the proposal.
