Tuesday’s 4th of July holiday boasted splendid weather and the opportunity to watch Bloomington’s annual downtown parade. Voices in the Street has asked how you spent independence day and if you attended the parade what you liked most about it.

Yesterday, as citizens marked the 241st anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, WFHB stopped by Bloomington’s branch of the Veterans of Foreign Wars to talk with military families about the holiday. Reporter Arjun Balasundaram brings us that story for today’s WFHB community report.
