Bloomington Approves Emergency Response Plans

Monroe County Emergency Management Director Allison Moore is working to ensure county residents receive help in the wake of a disaster. Moore presented the Monroe County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan to the Bloomington City Council, last week. Emergency Declared in Additional Counties

One-third of Indiana is under an emergency declaration, following torrential rain and flooding last month. Governor Eric Holcomb expanded the list to Gibson, Lagrange, Vanderburg, and Vermillion counties on Friday, bringing the total number of flooded counties to 35.
