Area Unemployment Among Highest in State

Owen, Greene, and Monroe Counties are among the highest unemployment rates in the state. Emergency Declared in Additional Counties

One-third of Indiana is under an emergency declaration, following torrential rain and flooding last month. Governor Eric Holcomb expanded the list to Gibson, Lagrange, Vanderburg, and Vermillion counties on Friday, bringing the total number of flooded counties to 35.
