Bloomington PRIDE wins Human Rights Award

The City of Bloomington’s Human Rights Commission have selected Bloomington PRIDE to receive the Human Rights Award this year. The award is given to organizations or individuals who demonstrate a commitment to equal access in housing, employment, education, and community life for people with disabilities. On August 26, the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana and Bloomington PRIDE teamed up to hold a panel and discussion about transgender experiences.
