Prosecutor Requests Sheriff Withhold Body Cam Footage After Shooting

A man was killed this morning by Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies, as they were serving a warrant to a mobile home, northwest of Bloomington. Bloomington Mayor Looks to Expand Police Force

Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton is proposing the hiring of five additional public safety officers. Hamilton is expected to put the proposal before the city’s budgetary meeting, later in August.
