Standing Room Only: Josh Rosenthal, Bill Wilson, and the Record Store of the Mind

On May 16, 2016 Josh Rosenthal was in Bloomington for a reading of his new book “The Record Store of the Mind” at Boxcar Books. Josh Rosenthal is the owner of Tompkins Square Records and the author of “The Record Store of The Mind.” Rosenthal made Bloomington a priority on his book tour because Tompkins Square recently reissued the 1973 album “Ever Changing Minstrel” by the late Bill Wilson, a Bloomington-based singer-songwriter who died in 1994. Rosenthal later sat with WFHB’s Jim Manion for an interview on the Afternoon Music Mix. The first part of the program is an edited version of Rosenthal’s interview on WFHB with Jim Manion. The second part is Rosenthal at his Boxcar Books reading, which is followed by some conversation about Bill Wilson with those attending. This week’s episode was edited by Jim Manion.
