Standing Room Only: A Discussion on the Americans with Disabilities Act

On Wednesday, June 22nd the City of Bloomington’s Council for Community Accessibility met with different restaurant owners to speak about making Bloomington more compliable with the Americans with Disabilities Act. A representative from the Great Lakes ADA Center came to give a mini-training session at Uptown Cafe on how to improve restaurants in the Bloomington area. Jennifer Skulski owns her own consulting firm which teaches businesses and corporations about complying with the ADA. She speaks in this episode about how specific restaurants in Bloomington can better themselves, and also speaks about certain regulations that oftentimes go unnoticed. The discussion begins with Jennifer explaining her business and her past work.
