Quarry’s making big booms in southern Monroe county, terrible logging on lake Monroe without permits from Monroe County, no interest by the county about what happened, caller talks about land management and the dire consequences for our community, suggestion to start more public nature conservancies, the difference between DNR control and possible Army Corps of Engineers control of natural resources, another caller mentions Friends of Lake Monroe, more about the county’s terrible practice of saying no to those who apply for permits, however, if you don’t ask for a permit, but just do something, they do nothing, another caller talks about regulations, and asks who is enforcing these regulations, also the fact that no one is protesting about our environment, and political impacts, and that people should become aware and protest.
