Welcome to the Thanksgiving Episode of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio! Hearabouts is produced by WFHB and Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions.

On today’s episode, Host Ellen Wu, Indiana University History Professor, interviews Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia, immigration expert and Penn State Law Professor. Professor Wadhia shares her experience as a lawyer, advocate, and educator. In addition, Professor Wu and Professor Wadhia help us understand family reunification and the ramifications of the current immigration policy on refugees and undocumented adults and children.
