In this weeks radio rundown of ecological news, WFHB’s Julianna Dailey and Tod Wicks report on the Monroe County Council joining area environmental organizations in requesting more time for public comments on projected plans for the Hoosier National Forest and the U.S Forest Service proposing a project meant to improve wildlife habitats and improving stream viability.  Also in this week’s news Reindeer numbers have fallen by more than half in two decades and Washington, DC’s City Council voting unanimously to transition to one hundred percent renewable energy by 2032.
