The just-passed tax bill doubles the standard deduction. That means there will be far fewer people itemizIng in the future, and we anticipate a decrease charitable giving. So, if you itemize on your income taxes, now is the time to make additional charitable gifts, or to even prepay charitable pledges if you can.
