Voices in the Street: “Do you think the government should fund the arts and humanities?”

Last week the Trump administration released a preliminary budget proposal for 2018. The proposal covers discretionary spending and thus spending on the arts and humanities.
The proposed budget calls for eliminating future federal support for the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
