On Tuesday, October 11th, Mathers Museum of World Cultures hosted a panel entitled Health, Healing, and the Arts. The panel spoke about art and the healing process, and the cultural, economic, spiritual and educational dimensions of art within public health. Panelists included IU’s School of Medicine’s Associate Dean of Global Health Dr. Bob Einterz, Associate Professor of Folklore and Ethnomusicology Dr. Daniel Reed, and Professor of Folklore and Ethnomusicology Dr. Ruth Stone. The panel was moderated by Dr. Molly Rosenberg from the School of Public Health. We begin today’s episode with a representative from Mathers introducing the lecture.
