Tonight on Standing Room Only, we will be finalizing our 2016 Candidate Forum series. The staff at WFHB has conducted forums in previous weeks with candidates for school board, treasurer, county commissioner, and the Indiana House of Representatives. You can find these past forums on wfhb.org. Tonight we will be hearing from three candidates who are running for county auditor. Ann Boehm is the republican candidate, Cathy Smith is the democratic candidate, and Therese Chambers is running as independent. After that, we will be airing segments entitled “Candidates on Demand,” courtesy of Community Access Television Services. Democrats Geoff McKim, Cheryl Munson, and Lee Jones are running for Monroe County Council, along with Republican Hal Turner. “Candidates on Demand” allows for each of these candidates to have some time to explain their platforms. This will air in the second half of the program. For now, WFHB reporter Jerrod Dill moderates the discussion, and he begins tonight’s episode by introducing the candidates.
