Ramifications of Ramming Concussions

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, a concussion is a traumatic brain injury caused by a major blow to the head. When clinicians diagnose someone with a concussion, they are observing some combination of loss of consciousness, dizziness, confusion, severe headache, memory loss, nausea, feelings of lost time, and seeing flashing lights. But in a recent Purdue University study, researchers found that the brain begins to respond to blows to the head long before outwardly noticeable symptoms arrive.
