Over 100 residents and community members gathered at the Islamic Center of Bloomington on Sunday evening, in memorial for the victims of the terrorist attack on a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Sunday’s vigil was organized by ICOB congregants, after receiving an outpouring of support from area residents and organizations. Religious leaders and Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton spoke to the assembly.
