March 25, 2011: Martinsville Teenager Shot at School

A Martinsville teenager is in critical but stable condition after suffering at least one gunshot wound at his middle school today. Indiana State Police say that 15-year-old Chance Jackson was shot before classes began today at Martinsville West Middle School. The suspect, who is a classmate of Jackson, fled the scene and disposed of the handgun, which was later recovered by law enforcement from a field southwest of the school. In today’s feature, we take you on-location to the school administration’s headquarters where officials brief the public on this morning’s incident.
