Lazaro Oliva is the Head Researcher for the Cultural Policies Studies Group at the Cuban Institute for Cultural Research, in Havana Cuba. In a whirlwind tour of the United States, he has stopped through Bloomington to meet with colleagues at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Indiana University and to meet with members of Bloomington’s Cubamastad group. Oliva visit the WFHB studios this afternoon, and spoke with News Director Alycin Bektesh about his research, and his inaugural visit to the states, in this WFHB feature report.
