The race for Monroe County Treasurer was wide open this year. The incumbent Treasurer, Democrat Cathy Smith, was required to
leave the office because of term limits. In the May primary, Democratic voters nominated Jessica McClellan to run for the job. On the
Republican side, Ann Collins was the only candidate in the primary ballot, so she too is now competing to become Treasurer. Jessica
McClellan and Ann Collins sat down with WFHB News Director Joe Crawford to discuss the race and we bring you a portion of that
